Dr. Rose Unuafe is a seasoned Family Physician with over 17 years of comprehensive experience in family practice. She graduated from the prestigious University of Benin, College of Medicine, where she obtained her medical degree. She completed her postgraduate training in Bloemfontein, South Africa, further strengthening her clinical expertise and global perspective in patient care.
Dr. Unuafe is CCFP certified and CANREACH trained, reflecting her commitment to excellence and continuous professional development. She is known for her empathetic approach, attentive listening skills, and dedication to building strong therapeutic relationships with her patients.
She provides evidence-based care to patients of all ages across community clinics and long-term care settings. Her practice encompasses both acute and chronic medical conditions, with special interests in child psychiatry, women’s health, in-office gynecological procedures, preventive care, and minor surgical procedures.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Unuafe serves as a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary. In this role, she is passionate about mentoring and training the next generation of family physicians, contributing to the advancement of high-quality primary care.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Unuafe is a proud wife and mother of two. She enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and spending quality time with her family. In her leisure time, she loves watching movies as a way to relax and unwind.
