Dr. Tobechi Okeke
Dr. Tobechi Okeke brings compassion, experience, and a deep commitment to community health to every patient encounter.
Dr. Okeke is a College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP)–certified family physician with over 15 years of medical experience. He completed his medical training at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and later earned a Diploma in Occupational Medicine from the University of Manchester. After moving to Canada, he completed his Family Medicine certification and served a three-year return-of-service in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, where he cared extensively for seniors and also worked as a hospitalist at the regional hospital in Antigonish.
Since relocating to Alberta in 2024, Dr. Okeke has continued to provide comprehensive medical care in clinic, long-term care, and emergency settings. He also performs marine medical examinations for Transport Canada.
Patients appreciate Dr. Okeke’s calm, attentive approach and his willingness to listen. He believes good medicine begins with understanding — taking time to hear a patient’s concerns, explain conditions clearly, and develop practical treatment plans that fit each person’s life.
His clinical interests include:
